miles from Lafayette, IN Monticello is home to Lakes Freeman and Shafer. The
host venue is Located almost halfway between Chicago and Indianapolis. Indiana
Beach is perfect for a day trip or weekend getaway. Come out to participate and
support the Monticello Rotary club with their community projects. This year,
proceeds will be used to furnish the new Monticello Fire Department.

Swim Course:
SWIM CAP REQUIRED AND PROVIDED: Swim 400
yards in Lake Shafer right of the shores of Indiana Beach Amusement Park.
Swimmers will navigate a single clockwise loop finishing at the starting area.
The 60-yard path from the water to the bike racks will be lined with
carpet/rugs. Shoes may be dropped if desired. Swim caps are mandatory. Aid
Station providing water will be at the bike corral.
Bike Course:
HELMETS MUST BE WORN WHILE ON THE BIKE. BRING YOUR OWN: The bike
course is on mostly flat and fast county roads with a few rollers. Volunteers will
be at all intersections to control traffic. The road will be marked as well.
There will be roving medical support, a pick up vehicle as well as a chase car
for the final rider. No other aid stations provided on the course. Water will
be available at the bike corral.
Run Course:
This 3.1
mile run will be flat and fast. Don’t let your season end without setting a personal
best record in Monticello. There will be 1 aid station providing water half way
through the run course.
